process to demonstrate the complete OERu scenario for partner institutions from concept design to credit award<sup id=\"cite_ref-2\" class=\"reference\"><a href=\"#cite_note-2\">[2]<\/a><\/sup>.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/p>\n<p>\n<\/p>\n<div class=\"panel iDevice\">\n\t<div class=\"panel-heading idevice-heading\">\n\t\t<div>\n\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"pedagogicalicon\" alt=\"objectives\" src=\"https:\/\/course.oeru.org\/2015-meetings\/wp-content\/themes\/oeru_course\/idevices\/Icon_objectives.png\">\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div>\n\t\t\t<h2>Objectives<\/h2>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n\t<div class=\"panel-body\">\n\t\t<div class=\"col-md-12\">\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n<p>The objectives of this session are to:\n<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li> Take note of the evolving international landscape in providing more affordable education including:\n<ul>\n<li>the <a rel=\"nofollow\" class=\"external text\" href=\"http:\/\/www.hewlett.org\/blog\/posts\/z-zero-increasing-college-access-and-success-through-zero-textbook-cost-degrees\">Zero Cost Textbook Degree<\/a> (Z-Degree) initiative\n<\/li>\n<li>the concept of a free first year of study (see for example <a rel=\"nofollow\" class=\"external text\" href=\"http:\/\/modernstates.org\/\">Modern States&#8217;<\/a> &#8220;Freshman Year for Free&#8221;
