This reading discusses the purpose, format, and standard elements of business letters. For each letter, consider:\n<ul>\n<li> Which elements are there and which have been missed out?\n<\/li>\n<li> Why do you think that is?\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li> What is the purpose of the letter?\n<\/li>\n<li> How effective do you think the letter is in achieving its purpose?\n<\/li>\n<li> How would you improve the letter?\n<\/li>\n<li> Post a WEnote about one interesting thing you have noticed when doing this activity.\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For example:\n<\/p>\n<p><i>I was surprised that&#8230;<\/i>\n<\/p>\n<p><i>I was interested to see that&#8230;<\/i>\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><div><p>You must be logged in to post to WEnotes.<\/p><\/div><\/p>\n<p>Your comment will be displayed in the <a href=\"https:\/\/wikieducator.org\/Corporate_communication\/CCOM101\/Feed\" title=\"Corporate communication\/CCOM101\/Feed\">course feed<\/a>.
