You will be introduced to standard business meeting practices, including setting a clear agenda, attending to technology needs in room setup, establishing participation expectations, and effective wrap-up procedures. In preparation, you are encouraged to consider participant relationship dynamics in terms of Tuckman\u2019s model and adapt activities to group developmental stages. In room setup, it\u2019s important to adapt seating arrangements to facilitate effective communication in different types of work groups. Modern business education programs also recognize interdependent relationships between internal organizational communication in areas of productivity, climate, and interaction, and external suppliers and customers.\n<\/p>\n<p>You are encouraged to read current research on lessons learned by other companies to improve your own organizational processes.
