You are on the home straight.\n<\/p>\n<p>These instructions are for <b>Wednesday 17<\/b> to <b>Thursday 18 August 2016<\/b>.\n<\/p>\n<p>The instructions for the previous Sessions can be found on the <a rel=\"nofollow\" class=\"external text\" href=\"http:\/\/course.oeru.org\/csf101\/interactions\/course-announcements\/how-announcements-work\/\">course site<\/a>.\n<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"mw-headline\" id=\"Defining_sustainability_and_sustainable_development\">Defining sustainability and sustainable development<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Having a common language will enable us to remove ambiguity about what sustainable development is.  You don&#8217;t have to know all the laws of chemistry, physics and biology to understand ecological success, but a basic definition of sustainability uses these.
