It also requires personal ability to be creative &#8211; a great enough knowledge of self that creates room for inspiration and clarity.\n<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"mw-headline\" id=\"What_will_I_learn.3F\">What will I learn?<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>In this micro course you will:\n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li> Learn that inspiration often comes from unexpected places.\n<\/li>\n<li> Be able to ask, &#8220;How would nature do this?&#8221;\n<\/li>\n<li> Understand prioritising questions to provide a check before action.\n<\/li>\n<li> Taking action changes perspective. With reflection it can provide new insight into the next course of action.\n<\/li>\n<li> Understand your audience and what you need them to know.\n<\/li>\n<li> Bring your audience and your message together.\n<\/li>\n<li> Learn to be clear and concise.  No jargon, no buzz words.\n<\/li>\n<li> Be able to ensure that the right measures are in place.\n<\/li>\n<li> Understand the Tools level of the <a rel=\"nofollow\" class=\"external text\" href=\"http:\/\/course.oeru.org\/csf101\/learning-pathways\/understanding-systems\/overview\/\">5 Level framework<\/a> from CSF101\n<\/li>\n<li> Have an understanding of which tools are best.\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><span class=\"mw-headline\" id=\"What.27s_involved.3F\">What&#8217;s involved?<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>There are 4 learning pathways each containing numerous resources and 5 activities, the last one being an assessment.<br \/>\nThe learning pathways are:\n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li> Inspiring creative solutions.\n<\/li>\n<li> Prioritising actions.\n<\/li>\n<li> Communicating for success.\n<\/li>\n<li> Choosing the right support tools.\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The micro-course can be completed in 40 hours, assessments included.\n<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"mw-headline\" id=\"What_prerequisites_should_I_have.2C_if_any.3F\">What prerequisites should I have, if any?<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Anyone is free to participate in this course. An internet connection and basic web browsing skills are recommended with the ability to create a blog and microblog account (instructions and self-study tutorials provided.) You are requested to keep a personal learning journal as reflection has been shown to increase learning markedly.\n<\/p>\n<p>Learners aiming to submit assessments for formal academic credit will need to meet the normal university admission requirements of the conferring institution (e.g. language proficiency and school leaving certificates). Learners aiming for the 3rd year Bachelor level are advised to have completed the majority of their 2nd year level subjects to have sufficient capability and experience for preparing assignments for 3rd year level of Bachelor study.\n<\/p>\n<p>Each micro-course uses the knowledge gained in the previous one.
