{"id":2778,"date":"2021-11-27T05:44:19","date_gmt":"2021-11-27T05:44:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/course.oeru.org\/ctvsd3\/?page_id=2778"},"modified":"2021-11-27T05:44:19","modified_gmt":"2021-11-27T05:44:19","slug":"the-different-types-of-educational-videos","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/course.oeru.org\/ctvsd3\/learning-resources\/creating-educational-videos\/the-different-types-of-educational-videos\/","title":{"rendered":"The different types of educational videos"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"content\" class=\"mw-body container\" role=\"main\">\n<div class=\"row\">\n<div class=\"col-md-12\">\n<div class=\"panel\">\n<div class=\"panel-body\">\n<div id=\"bodyContent\">\n<div id=\"mw-content-text\" lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\" class=\"mw-content-ltr\">\n<p>Educational videos come in many varieties.\n<\/p>\n<p>If you are designing resources that will be used to support learners who are being trained in the workplace the most common are narrated PowerPoint, whiteboard video and demonstration videos.\n<\/p>\n<p>We have already discussed how videos and presentations provide learners an opportunity to see and hear a work process.\n<\/p>\n<p>For workplace learners videos provide a safe place for the learner to watch and re-watch instructions relevant to the the topic that they are studying.\n<\/p>\n<p>Videos should be clear and concise and if possible delivered in short chunks.\n<\/p>\n<p>When making videos you should consider the following:\n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li> Use a quiet space.
