Understanding your learner cohort and their existing skills and experience is essential. If you pitch the activity at too high of a level, or too low of a level you will lose the engagement of an adult learner.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/p>\n<div class=\"panel iDevice\">\n\t<div class=\"panel-heading idevice-heading\">\n\t\t<div>\n\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"pedagogicalicon\" alt=\"definition\" src=\"https:\/\/course.oeru.org\/ctvsd4\/wp-content\/themes\/oeru_course\/idevices\/Icon_define.png\">\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div>\n\t\t\t<h2>Designing presentations<\/h2>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n\t<div class=\"panel-body\">\n\t\t<div class=\"col-md-12\">\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n<p>When designing a presentation as an activity, you should carefully plan what you are asking the learner to do. Are they to complete a quiz, a forum or a reflection after the presentation?
