Most OERu learners use <a rel=\"nofollow\" class=\"external text\" href=\"https:\/\/wordpress.com\/\">WordPress<\/a> or <a rel=\"nofollow\" class=\"external text\" href=\"https:\/\/www.blogger.com\">Blogger<\/a>. If you would like to use your existing blog, we will harvest posts which are tagged or labelled using &#8220;ds4oer&#8221;. However, you may prefer to set up a new dedicated course blog.\n<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"mw-headline\" id=\"Hosting_your_own_course_site\">Hosting your own course site<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>We strongly recommend that you set up a course blog using <a rel=\"nofollow\" class=\"external text\" href=\"https:\/\/wordpress.com\/\">WordPress<\/a> to familiarise yourself with this open source content management system because we will show you how to host your own WordPress site for publishing materials authored in WikiEducator during <a href=\"\/ds4oer\/learning-pathways\/publishing-a-course-site\/overview\" title=\"Digital skills for collaborative OER development\/Publish course site\/Objectives\">Session 9<\/a> of this course. Inspired by the <a rel=\"nofollow\" class=\"external text\" href=\"http:\/\/umw.domains\/\">Domain of One&#8217;s Own<\/a> initiative at the University of Mary Washington, on this course you will explore how to host your own WordPress site for publishing materials developed collaboratively in WikiEducator.
