Making revisions<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The revising phase is the last step in the PWR method. This is where you get to fix any issues with your essay and polish it until it shines. Revision literally means to \u201csee again,\u201d to look at something from a fresh, critical perspective. It is an ongoing process of rethinking the paper: reconsidering your arguments, reviewing your evidence, refining your purpose, reorganising your presentation, reviving stale prose.\n<\/p>\n

Revising involves much more than simply proofreading, which is only the last step in the revision process. It’s important to remember that revision takes time and works best when you’ve had a chance to ‘put down’ the essay and step away. In other words, don’t wait until the last minute to revise.\n<\/p>\n
