This is where you get to fix any issues with your essay and polish it until it shines. Revision literally means to \u201csee again,\u201d to look at something from a fresh, critical perspective. It is an ongoing process of rethinking the paper: reconsidering your arguments, reviewing your evidence, refining your purpose, reorganising your presentation, reviving stale prose.\n<\/p>\n<p>Revising involves much more than simply proofreading, which is only the last step in the revision process. It&#8217;s important to remember that revision takes time and works best when you&#8217;ve had a chance to &#8216;put down&#8217; the essay and step away.
