An important skill, and one that will make your own writing better, is the ability to distinguish between main points and sub-claims. By doing this you can make sure your own essays follow a logical order and that you cover all the claims and sub-points you have said you were going to address. To help you with this, read “Distinguishing between Main Points and Sub-claims”<\/a><\/b> produced by Writing Commons<\/a><\/b> and written by Jennifer Janechek.\n<\/p>\n
