Diagnosing your writing

Looking at your work from on high

Consider the following questions:

  1. Can you see the major sections of your essay at a glance?
  2. Do you know where your introduction ends and your conclusion begins?
  3. When you read your introduction and conclusion, can you easily find a sentence that expresses your main point?
