Make a copy of your essay. You can call it v3 for version 3 or anything that makes sense to you. The goal is to be able to see the progression of your essay from one step of the revision process to the next. If you prefer, you can also print a copy.\n<\/p>\n

Prepare a blog post that shows the following (cut and paste affected sentences):\n<\/p>\n

  1. Before and after sentences where words were replaced and a short explanation as to why you changed them.\n<\/li>\n
  2. Before and after sentences where words were eliminated and a short explanation as to why you removed them.\n<\/li>\n
  3. Any words you added and a short explanation as to how they improve your argument.\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Remember to tag (WordPress) or label (Blogger) your blog post using the course tag: Revising and polishing your writing\/enga104\/tag<\/a><\/i>\n<\/p>\n

    Note that you can also record your reflections in a written journal, if you prefer, but sharing your insights with your classmates means that you can trigger a discussion that may lead to a deeper understanding as we can all benefit from each other’s experience.\n<\/p>\n
