On successful completion of this OERu micro-course assessment, learners are eligible to apply for a reduced workload in the <a rel=\"nofollow\" class=\"external text\" href=\"https:\/\/www.utas.edu.au\/courses\/dvc-students-and-education\/units\/xbr112-humans-earth-shapers\">Humans: Earth Shapers (XBR112)<\/a> award unit, in recognition of the prior learning undertaken in \u2018Understanding Earth Shaping\u2019. The ETHS101 assessment task, asks learners to use the 4 major Learning Pathways and the assessment resources to answer a Twenty-one (21) multiple-choice and One (1) short answer questionnaire. This questionnaire has been designed to assess learners ability to apply the rock identification skills and critical thinking skills developed during the micro-course..\n<\/p>\n<p>In order to access the Assessment Task, learners will need to complete the following steps.\n<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Complete the <a rel=\"nofollow\" class=\"external text\" href=\"https:\/\/utas-dev.onestopsecure.com\/onestopweb\/CustPay\/tran?UDS_ACTION=DEFAULT&amp;UDS_ACTION_DATA=bSpVBzBGUXNOU1F2RUJDACtWQg1IWkQbLzNDLA5GIUoIQFBT\">payment process<\/a> or learn more about the <a rel=\"nofollow\" class=\"external text\" href=\"https:\/\/www.utas.edu.au\/sustainable-living\">Diploma of Sustainable Living Course page<\/a>\n<\/li>\n<li>You will then receive an email from UTAS, containing access and instructions to the assessment task.\n<\/li>\n<li>Once the assessment has been completed you will receive another email containing your feedback, results and recognition or prior learning.\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>If you have any questions please contact <b>Academic.Development@utas.edu.au .<\/b>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"mw-headline\" id=\"Additional_Information\">Additional Information<\/span><\/h2>\n<h3><span class=\"mw-headline\" id=\"Assessment_task_details\">Assessment task details<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>The assessment task is a Twenty-two (22) item questionnaire, which asks you to apply your rock reading skills to examine the (insert characteristics or focus) of a particular environment. In addition, one (1) question requires you to reflect on a thought experiment and explore how peer learning may have guided your thinking.\n<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"mw-headline\" id=\"Support_resources\">Support resources<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>We recommend that you refer to a combination of the <a href=\"\/eths101\/assessment\/assessment-resources\/sedimentary-rock-library\" title=\"Human earth shapers\/ETHS101\/Resources\"> Assessment Resources<\/a>, and the ETHS101 learning pathways, while completing the assessment task.\n<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"mw-headline\" id=\"Assessment_Duration\">Assessment Duration<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>The assessment task is estimated to take 1 hour to complete, however time limits are not enforced and you are welcome to work on the assessment over a period of time.
