Why take notes? The obvious reason is to remember. Visual note-taking translates what we hear into pictures that give context, colour, and meaning. By adding symbols and [different visual elements], we add several dimensions.

Watch a TED Talk or conference keynote video of your choice, and practise your own note-taking skills using Cornell Notes or a similar visual note-taking style that works for you.

As evidence of completion:

  • please add a link to or copy of your notes to your Extend NZ blog or portfolio
  • include the name and link for the video you watched, and describe your experience with this note-taking strategy
