We distinguish between the following types of challenges:\n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li> <b>Practice<\/b> or <b>setup challenges<\/b>:  These are activities which provide learners to practice using components of the OERu <a rel=\"nofollow\" class=\"external text\" href=\"https:\/\/course.oeru.org\/support\/studying-courses\/course-feed\/\">component-based technology platform<\/a>.\n<\/li>\n<li> <b>Mini challenges<\/b>: These are activities embedded in the learning pathways designed as building blocks to help learners achieve the learning outcomes.\n<\/li>\n<li> <b>Learning challenges<\/b>: These are substantive activities offered at the end of each learning pathway where learners produce outputs to demonstrate what they have learned.\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><span class=\"mw-headline\"
