{"id":1588,"date":"2023-02-27T02:48:37","date_gmt":"2023-02-27T02:48:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/course.oeru.org\/ipm104\/?page_id=1588"},"modified":"2023-02-27T02:48:37","modified_gmt":"2023-02-27T02:48:37","slug":"tasks-getting-things-done-challenge","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/course.oeru.org\/ipm104\/learning-pathways\/project-implementation\/tasks-getting-things-done-challenge\/","title":{"rendered":"Tasks &#8211; Getting things done challenge"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"content\" class=\"mw-body container\" role=\"main\">\n<div class=\"row\">\n<div class=\"col-md-12\">\n<div class=\"panel\">\n<div class=\"panel-body\">\n<div id=\"bodyContent\">\n<div id=\"mw-content-text\" lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\" class=\"mw-content-ltr\">\n<p>Once your project has commenced, it is likely that you need to consider progress and changes that may occur from the original plan.\n<\/p>\n<p>Your task is to complete two (2) elements necessary in the implementation phase:\n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>An implementation document that includes progress measurement and response to deviation, and\n<\/li>\n<li>A change control document\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Consider an element of your project that needs to be completed before another element can be started e.g when building a bathroom the plumbing needs to be installed before the walls and floors can be covered.If you completed IPM103 Planning a Project you could use the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and Gantt charts you prepared to identify an appropriate task to track and monitor, but this is not necessary.\n<\/p>\n<p>Explain how you might measure progress towards the goal you have identified, and describe what you would do if progress is not in line with your original plan.<br \/>\nCreate and complete a change control template for your project because the element you identified above will not be completed as originally forecast. You can source a template online, or develop your own.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"mw-headline\" id=\"Marking_Rubric\">Marking Rubric<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Use the rubric below to work out if you have done a good job.
