There are so many parallels in how perceptual processing works across modalities that we can use a common framework to organize all of them. <\/p>\n<p>Our textbook touch on each of the remaining modalities, including <a rel=\"nofollow\" class=\"external text\" href=\"https:\/\/openpress.usask.ca\/introductiontopsychology\/chapter\/hearing\/\">hearing<\/a> and <a rel=\"nofollow\" class=\"external text\" href=\"https:\/\/openpress.usask.ca\/introductiontopsychology\/chapter\/tasting-smelling-and-touching\/\">taste, smell and touch.<\/a> Download this worksheet to work out how to apply the perceptual process framework to each of these modalities. Because the remaining modalities are not covered in any real detail, there will be elements of the perceptual process that will remain blank but fill in what you can.\n<\/p>\n<p>You can either post your completed worksheet to your private learning journal or you can make your learning public on your blog by using the hastags <i><b>#IPSY102 #PerceptualProcessFramework<\/b><\/i>.
