In this course we will use <a rel=\"nofollow\" class=\"external text\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/\">Twitter<\/a> as the backchannel. You will need to know how to use the course hashtag in your tweets: <b>#OERulida101<\/b><br style=\"clear:both;\"><br \/>\n<div class=\"panel iDevice\">\n\t<div class=\"panel-heading idevice-heading\">\n\t\t<div>\n\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"pedagogicalicon\" alt=\"activity\" src=\"https:\/\/course.oeru.org\/lida100\/wp-content\/themes\/oeru_course\/idevices\/Icon_activity.png\">\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div>\n\t\t\t<h2>Tweet using course hashtag<\/h2>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n\t<div class=\"panel-body\">\n\t\t<div class=\"col-md-12\">\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n<p><b>Purpose<\/b>: Confirm digital skills to post a tweet using the course hashtag.\n<\/p>\n<div class=\"plainlinks\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"320px\" height=\"180px\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/QihQbOdno1I?rel=0\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p><b>Tasks<\/b>\n<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li> Create a <a rel=\"nofollow\" class=\"external text\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/\">Twitter account<\/a> (if you don&#8217;t already have one &#8211; click on &#8220;Sign up for Twitter&#8221;)\n<\/li>\n<li> Complete or update your profile information\n<\/li>\n<li> Post a tweet and include the hastag &#8220;<b>#OERulida101<\/b>&#8221; in the body of the Tweet, sharing why you joined this course (the video shows how to do this at approximately 1 minute and 44 seconds). For example:\n<ul>\n<li> <i>I joined the #OERulida101 course because &#8230;<\/i>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li> Go to the search bar and type in &#8220;#OERulida101&#8243;and press enter to <a rel=\"nofollow\" class=\"external text\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/OERulida101?src=hash\">display tweets<\/a> using the course hashtag.\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/p>\n<p>\n<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"mw-headline\" id=\"A_few_notes_about_the_.23OERulida101_backchannel\">A few notes about the #OERulida101 backchannel<\/span><\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li> You must include the hashtag in your tweets so other learners can find the <a rel=\"nofollow\" class=\"external text\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/OERulida101?src=hash\">twitter feed<\/a> for this course.\n<\/li>\n<li> Tweets using the course hashtag <b>won&#8217;t<\/b> appear in the course feed.
