(2014). &#8220;The university didn&#8217;t actually tell us this is what you have to do&#8221;: Social inclusion through embedding of academic skills in first year professional courses. <i>The International Journal Of The First Year In Higher Education<\/i>, 5(1), 43-53. doi:10.5204\/intjfyhe.v5i1.194\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li> Read the <a rel=\"nofollow\" class=\"external text\" href=\"https:\/\/web.hypothes.is\/blog\/synchronizing-annotations-between-local-and-remote-pdfs\/\">instructions<\/a> on how to annotate a local pdf file using hypothes.is\n<\/li>\n<li> Create an account on hypothes.is (if you don&#8217;t have one yet) and log in to post annotations.\n<\/li>\n<li> Open the local pdf file in your browser. Note: You must use the Chrome browser for this challenge and install the hypothes.is extension for Chrome. (Search for instructions online to find out how to install Chrome and the relevant extension.)\n<\/li>\n<li> Read the research article and add one or two annotations to your local pdf file. (Your hypothes.is extension must be &#8220;active&#8221; &#8211; that is you must be logged in to hypothes.is.)\n<\/li>\n<li> Remember to <b>tag<\/b> your annotation on the local pdf file using the course code: <b>lida101<\/b> (The course tag is required to harvest posts for the course feed.)\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2><span class=\"mw-headline\" id=\"Outputs\">Outputs<\/span><\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li> Visit an <b>online version<\/b> of the same article <a rel=\"nofollow\" class=\"external text\" href=\"http:\/\/wikieducator.org\/images\/c\/cb\/194-1-1390-1-10-20140225.pdf\">hosted on WikiEducator<\/a>.\n<\/li>\n<li> Activate your hypothes.is extension in your browser.
