(In the text of your post, state for example: Image by Jane Doe, licensed under Creative Commons Attribution.)\n<\/li>\n<li> If you&#8217;re not sure about the copyright permissions, we recommend that you take your own photograph, because then you will own the copyright of the image and have the authority to share online. You can learn more about copyright by taking the OERu&#8217;s <a rel=\"nofollow\" class=\"external text\" href=\"https:\/\/oeru.org\/oeru-partners\/otago-polytechnic\/open-education-copyright-and-open-licensing-in-a-digital-world\/\">Open Education, Copyright and Open Licensing in a Digital World<\/a> (LiDA103) micro-course.  (The OERu reserves the right to delete any posts with images on our websites that are in breach of copyright).\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><span class=\"mw-headline\" id=\"Create_your_own_image\">Create your own image<\/span><\/h4>\n<p>Ideas for generating your own image:\n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li> Take a photograph of an unusual object.\n<\/li>\n<li> Take a close-up photo of a familiar object from an unusual angle.\n<\/li>\n<li> Take a photo of only part of an object, or crop an image (note that copyright may apply when cropping someone else&#8217;s image).\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><span class=\"mw-headline\" id=\"Part_C:_Share_your_image_for_others_to_guess\">Part C: Share your image for others to guess<\/span><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li> Log in to <a rel=\"nofollow\" class=\"external free\" href=\"https:\/\/mastodon.oeru.org\">https:\/\/mastodon.oeru.org<\/a> (Create an account if you don&#8217;t already have one).\n<\/li>\n<li> Upload your image by clicking on the paper clip icon: <a href=\"https:\/\/mastodon.oeru.org\" rel=\"nofollow\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Screenshot Mastodon media.png\" src=\"\/\/wikieducator.org\/images\/thumb\/4\/4c\/Screenshot_Mastodon_media.png\/30px-Screenshot_Mastodon_media.png\" width=\"30\" height=\"33\" class=\"img-responsive\"><\/a>\n<\/li>\n<li> Post the text of your mention (&#8220;Toot&#8221;) inviting others to guess what the image is, and provide a hint or comment if you like. It can take up to 20 minutes before your post appears in the course feed. If it is not there, go back to your original post and check to see that you included the hashtag #lida101 within your post text.
