However, media literacy also requires that you develop web skills for fact-checking in the contemporary digital world of &#8220;fake news&#8221;.\n<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"mw-headline\" id=\"Practical_example\">Practical example<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Consider for example, this reflection published by Maha Bali on a <a rel=\"nofollow\" class=\"external text\" href=\"https:\/\/blog.mahabali.me\/educational-technology-2\/falsification-story-trumps-sea-of-love\/\">falsification story<\/a> that circulated through social media in Egypt.
