Assessment
Once you have completed this course, you have the option to take a quiz that assesses your understanding of the course content. If you successfully complete this quiz, you will earn a micro-credential from Kwantlen Polytechnic University (KPU). This micro-credential comes with a digital badge that you may embed within an e-portfolio or share through social media (e.g., LinkedIn profile).
In order to attempt the quiz, you need to follow these steps:
- Navigate to the KPU Online Learning site at https://onlinelearning.kpu.ca/
- Click on the “Create new account” button towards the bottom of the screen (see below)
- Choose a username and password and provide your email address and full name within the fields of the webform
- Click on “Create my new account”
- Navigate to the course page for LLWD100 at https://onlinelearning.kpu.ca/course/view.php?id=582
- Click on “Living Well With Dementia micro-course quiz” to attempt the quiz
- Upon successful completion of the quiz, you will receive an automated email via CanCred on behalf of KPU letting you know you have earned a digital badge along with an option to claim it. You will also have an option to create a free account at CanCred Passport to store your badge credentials along with any other digital badges you may have earned elsewhere.
