Home to me\n<\/p>\n

In front of the mirror\n<\/p>\n

Startled by what I see\n<\/p>\n

A sombre old lady\n<\/p>\n

An unknown face to me\n<\/p>\n

I am to leave this old house\n<\/p>\n

They say it was my own\n<\/p>\n

Unfamiliar surroundings\n<\/p>\n

Was it really my home\n<\/p>\n

For the best mum is what I hear\n<\/p>\n

Fear in their eyes\n<\/p>\n

Sadness in their tone\n<\/p>\n

The squeak of the door with the turn of the key\n<\/p>\n

A familiar sound I think\n<\/p>\n

Is my hearing deceiving me\n<\/p>\n

Time to go now\n<\/p>\n

One last look in the mirror\n<\/p>\n

They say it is me but can it be\n<\/p>\n

Smiling faces await\n<\/p>\n

They are happy to see me\n<\/p>\n

A sigh of relief\n<\/p>\n

This is home to me\n<\/p>\n
