Digging deeper the basic principles of macroeconomics.

1. Re-watch the measurse video.
2. Re-read Principles of Macroeconomics: “Chapter 6: Measuring Total Output and Income”
3. Re-watch the nominal and real GDP video

Now we’ll take a closer look at some of what we just covered about goals, measures, and challenges in macroeconomics. The idea is that you get to tie together some of the threads from the content you have looked at early in this module. The purpose of this learning challenge is to:

• Demonstrate your knowledge of the different measurements of GDP
• Make you think about how different economic activities can effect the GDP.
• Think about intermediate and final goods.
