Week 11: Substantive Debate (3rd Week)<\/span><\/h2>\n

During this week, draft resolutions will remain on the table from the previous week. The role of the Committee during this week is to finesse and refine this draft resolution through the formulation and introduction of draft amendments for debate.\n<\/p>\n

By this week, there will be strict application of the rules of procedure governing debate.\n<\/p>\n

Brief Outline of the Session<\/span><\/h3>\n

1) Roll Call\n<\/p>\n

2) Opening of the General Speakers List\n<\/p>\n

3) Introduction of Draft Resolutions or Amendments\n<\/p>\n

The Chair will generally not entertain the introduction of working papers at this stage.\n<\/p>\n
