With an additional click or two from the default &#8216;image search&#8217;, you can source openly licensed images to spruce up your course content.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"mw-headline\" id=\"Images\">Images<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>When searching for images, be sure to look for inclusive and diverse representations.  When creating learning materials, we have an opportunity to show our audience what inclusive workplaces\/organisations look like.  Try options such as <a rel=\"nofollow\" class=\"external text\" href=\"https:\/\/genderphotos.vice.com\/\">The Gender Spectrum Collection<\/a>.\n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li> The <a rel=\"nofollow\" class=\"external text\" href=\"https:\/\/search.creativecommons.org\/\">Creative Commons Search<\/a> is a great place to start when looking for images and other media.\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li> <a rel=\"nofollow\" class=\"external text\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/\">Flickr.com<\/a> supports Creative Commons. A filter on its site facilitates search results from creators who want to share their work.\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li> <a rel=\"nofollow\" class=\"external text\" href=\"https:\/\/unsplash.com\/\">Unsplash.com<\/a> embraces the open world with its clear statement: \u201cAll photos published on Unsplash can be used for free. You can use them for commercial and noncommercial purposes. You do not need to ask permission from or provide credit to the photographer or Unsplash, although it is appreciated when possible\u201d.\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\n<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"mw-headline\" id=\"Slides\">Slides<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>While there are many types of content, many teachers rely on slides to anchor their facilitated sessions.  The Canadian National Institute for the Blind (CNIB) has recommended <a rel=\"nofollow\" class=\"external text\" href=\"https:\/\/cnib.ca\/sites\/default\/files\/2018-07\/CNIB%20Clear%20Print%20Guide.pdf\">guidelines<\/a> to make visual communications accessible.  The guidelines make recommendations around font size and contrast which are useful in developing slides and other documents that are posted online.
