For this essay, you are expected to select an authentic example that demonstrates a company, organization or industry&#8217;s  failure to promote diversity, culturally appropriate or ethical behaviour. You can choose something you&#8217;ve seen in the news or choose from one of the following examples:\n<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><a rel=\"nofollow\" class=\"external text\" href=\"http:\/\/fortune.com\/2016\/12\/28\/biggest-corporate-scandals-2016\/\">A list of corporate scandals<\/a>\n<\/li>\n<li><a rel=\"nofollow\" class=\"external text\" href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/technology\/2017\/feb\/20\/uber-urgent-investigation-sexual-harassment-claims-susan-fowler\">Uber&#8217;s sexism issues<\/a> (<a rel=\"nofollow\" class=\"external text\" href=\"https:\/\/www.susanjfowler.com\/blog\/2017\/2\/19\/reflecting-on-one-very-strange-year-at-uber\">the blog post that triggered the investigation<\/a>)\n<\/li>\n<li><a rel=\"nofollow\" class=\"external text\" href=\"http:\/\/www.macleans.ca\/society\/technology\/how-to-close-the-gaming-industrys-diversity-gap\/\">The gaming industry&#8217;s diversity gap<\/a>\n<\/li>\n<li><a rel=\"nofollow\" class=\"external text\" href=\"http:\/\/www.newyorker.com\/business\/currency\/why-cant-silicon-valley-solve-its-diversity-problem\">Silicon Valley&#8217;s diversity problem<\/a>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Your report should contain the following:\n<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li> <b>Introduction including purpose and objectives<\/b>\n<\/li>\n<li> <b>A paragraph that explains which diversity, culture and business ethics principles you are going to look at.<\/b>\n<\/li>\n<li> <b>Sufficient context to explain the misstep or diversity\/culture\/ethics issue you are examining.<\/b>\n<\/li>\n<li> <b>Discussion of linkages between your example and relevant theory for managing the issue.<\/b>\n<\/li>\n<li> <b>A paragraph highlighting future management trends in relation to the topic of diversity, culture and business ethics principles.<\/b>\n<\/li>\n<li> <b>Conclusions and Recommendations<\/b>: What could the company or organization have done differently? How would you have handled this situation?\n<\/li>\n<li> <b>Bibliography<\/b>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Your essay should be 1250 words maximum and you must use the APA referencing style.\n<\/p>\n<p>When preparing the assignment, learners must consult and cite five (5) relevant books, book chapters, or journal articles (at a minimum).
