For example, <a rel=\"nofollow\" class=\"external text\" href=\"https:\/\/oeru.org\/oeru-partners\/otago-polytechnic\/digital-citizenship\/\">Digital citizenship<\/a> (LiDA102) is one of four micro-courses associated with the OERu&#8217;s <a rel=\"nofollow\" class=\"external text\" href=\"https:\/\/oeru.org\/learning-in-a-digital-age\">Learning in a Digital Age<\/a> course.\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The main oeru.org site also provides a list of the <a rel=\"nofollow\" class=\"external text\" href=\"https:\/\/oeru.org\/qualifications\/\">qualifications<\/a> that can be earned by completing OERu courses.\n<\/p>\n<p>The url for the website is: <a rel=\"nofollow\" class=\"external free\" href=\"https:\/\/oeru.org\">https:\/\/oeru.org<\/a> (bookmark this page).\n<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"mw-headline\" id=\"Course_website\">Course website<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>All OERu online course materials are &#8220;open access&#8221; and can be viewed on the respective course site without the need to register a password.\n<\/p>\n<p>The <b>learning resources and materials<\/b> for all OERu courses use the following standard website url: https:\/\/course.oeru.org\/ with the course code appended at the end of the url. <br \/>For example, the first micro-course for <i>Learning in a Digital age<\/i> (LiDA101) uses the following url: <a rel=\"nofollow\" class=\"external free\" href=\"http:\/\/course.oeru.org\/lida101\">http:\/\/course.oeru.org\/lida101<\/a>\n<\/p>\n<p>The easiest way to find OERu courses is from the <a rel=\"nofollow\" class=\"external text\" href=\"https:\/\/oeru.org\/courses\/\">course listing<\/a> on the main oeru.org website. Once you have read what the course is about, you can scan the actual course materials before commencing your learning journey.\n<\/p>\n<p>When you have found a course you would like to study, follow the &#8220;start learning&#8221; link to access the materials on the course site and bookmark the page in your browser.\n<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"mw-headline\" id=\"Interaction_technologies\">Interaction technologies<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>A key feature of the OERu learning environment is that learners retain control over all the content they create rather than enclosing contributions within a learning management system. You will retain access to the content you produce even after the course is finished.\n<\/p>\n<p>The OERu learning environment uses a variety of\u200b distributed interaction technologies including:\n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li> <b>Course forums<\/b>: <a rel=\"nofollow\" class=\"external text\" href=\"https:\/\/forums.oeru.org\/\">forums.oeru.org<\/a> (powered by <a rel=\"nofollow\" class=\"external text\" href=\"https:\/\/www.discourse.org\/\">Discourse<\/a>),\n<\/li>\n<li> <b>Social network<\/b>: <a rel=\"nofollow\" class=\"external text\" href=\"https:\/\/mastodon.oeru.org\/\">mastodon.oeru.org<\/a> (similar to Twitter based on <a rel=\"nofollow\" class=\"external text\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Mastodon_(software)\">Mastodon<\/a>), \u200b\n<\/li>\n<li> <b>Social bookmarks<\/b>: <a rel=\"nofollow\" class=\"external text\" href=\"https:\/\/bookmarks.oeru.org\/\">bookmarks.oeru.org<\/a>\u200aused as a <b>resource bank<\/b> for\u200b \u200b sharing resource\u200b links you find useful (based on <a rel=\"nofollow\" class=\"external text\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Scuttle_(software)\">SemanticScuttle<\/a>)\u200b;\u200b\n<\/li>\n<li> <b>Annotation and discussion<\/b>: <a rel=\"nofollow\" class=\"external text\" href=\"https:\/\/web.hypothes.is\/\">Hypothes.is<\/a>,\n<\/li>\n<li> <b>WEnotes<\/b> (<b>W<\/b> iki <b>E<\/b> ducator <b>notes<\/b>) a technology developed by the OER Foundation to post comments on the course site and integrate these with the live course feed.\n<\/li>\n<li> <b>Personal\u200b blogs<\/b>\u200b\u200b so\u200b learners\u200b\u200b can\u200b manage\u200b\u200b their\u200b own e-portfolios.\u200b \u200b \u200b\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><span class=\"mw-headline\" id=\"Course_feed\">Course feed<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Posts tagged with the OERu course code, e.g. #LiDA101, on these distributed interaction technologies are automatically collated and published on the live course feed.\n<\/p>\n<p>Thus, the course feed provides a stream of activity from your cohort on the course.\n<\/p>\n<p>The course feed is located under <b>Interactions<\/b> in the main course site menu.\n<\/p>\n<p>More information on how to use the course feed is available <a href=\"\/support\/studying-courses\/course-feed\" title=\"OERu learner support\/Studying courses\/Course feed\">here<\/a>.\n<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"mw-headline\" id=\"Locating_a_course\">Locating a course<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Follow the instructions below to find our courses or watch the video.\n<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li> In your browser go to our main page <a rel=\"nofollow\" class=\"external free\" href=\"http:\/\/oeru.org\">http:\/\/oeru.org<\/a>.\n<\/li>\n<li> Click on &#8220;Courses&#8221; in the menu.\n<\/li>\n<li> Look down the page to see our courses.
