(Check your spam folder if you don&#8217;t receive the email.)\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<div class=\"plainlinks floatleft\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"560px\" height=\"315px\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/Rko6vRiOAgM?rel=0\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p><br style=\"clear:both;\">\n<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"mw-headline\" id=\"Adding_a_bookmark\">Adding a bookmark<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>This is how you add a bookmark to the OERu Bookmarks repository:\n<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li> Go to <a rel=\"nofollow\" class=\"external text\" href=\"http:\/\/bookmarks.oeru.org\">bookmarks.oeru.org<\/a> and login.\n<\/li>\n<li> In a separate tab, search the web to find a useful resource as directed in your course.\n<\/li>\n<li> On the bookmarks page click the &#8220;Add&#8221; link.\n<\/li>\n<li> Fill in the details of the web resource you found.\n<ul>\n<li> You can copy and past the Address (URL) and the Title.\n<\/li>\n<li> In the Description add any details required for the course activity, or describe why this resource is useful.\n<\/li>\n<li> The &#8220;Add Note&#8221; link enables you to add a note that only you will see.\n<\/li>\n<li> Add the tags requested by the course activity and\/or add the course code as a tag. You can add other tags that will help you and others find the resource.\n<\/li>\n<li> Decide whether the bookmark is public or private. Obviously for a course activity the bookmark <b>needs to be public<\/b>, but you can also add private bookmarks which only you can see.\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li> Click &#8220;Add Bookmark&#8221;.\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<div class=\"plainlinks floatleft\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"560px\" height=\"315px\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/K2BhOiwx8xQ?rel=0\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p><br style=\"clear:both;\">\n<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"mw-headline\" id=\"Searching_bookmarks\">Searching bookmarks<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>After you login there are a number of different ways to search:\n<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li> Put a search term directly into the search field &#8211; for course searches, select &#8220;<b>all bookmarks<\/b>&#8221; from the pull down option.\n<ul>\n<li> Note that you can search just within your own personal bookmarks or all bookmarks.\n<\/li>\n<li> Searching for your Course code, e.g. LiDA101 will find all the bookmarks for your course.\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li> Click on the &#8220;Popular Tags&#8221; link.\n<ul>\n<li> You can sort alphabetically for by popularity.\n<\/li>\n<li> Click on the tag you are interested in to see the bookmarks for that tag.\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li> Click on the &#8220;All Users&#8221; link to see a list of users.\n<ul>\n<li> Click on the &#8220;Bookmarks&#8221; link by their name to see their public bookmarks.\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<div class=\"plainlinks floatleft\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"560px\" height=\"315px\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/EwMKdJZMaOs?rel=0\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p><br style=\"clear:both;\">\n<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"mw-headline\" id=\"Further_instructions\">Further instructions<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>This page has covered the basics for using OERu Bookmarks.
