Assessment Task Option K
Students who read a book for Activity Three are encouraged to write a book review for their peers.
A good book review provides a brief overview of the text, some critical analysis (was the author persuasive, did the book have an emotional impact and/or what were some of its critical moments) and also provide a recommendation for the reader. Further tips on writing a review can be found here: http://writingcenter.unc.edu/handouts/book-reviews/
You may choose to complete this task as a blog (approximately 500 words), as a video presentation (approximately 2 mins) or an audio presentation (approximately 2 mins). For more information on how to prepare the task in your chosen format, please see the assessment tab under the ‘About’ menu at the top of the screen.
When you have completed the task and posted it online, be sure to send out a tweet to advise your peers. You may also like to review the posts of other students to see what else you might enjoy reading!
