Welcome to Module Nine! Peacekeeping and Peacebuilding is a major component of the UN’s activities. In 2015, for example, the UN had 16 concurrent peacekeeping operations, with more than 125,000 peacekeepers deployed in countries as diverse as Haiti, Mali and Pakistan.
