Assessment Task Option I:<\/b>\n<\/p>\n

Choose a current peacekeeping operation from the list available here: http:\/\/www.un.org\/en\/peacekeeping\/operations\/current.shtml<\/a> .\n<\/p>\n

Provide an overview of this peacekeeping operation for your peers. Where is it located, and what is its purpose? When was it deployed, and how many peacekeepers are involved? Which countries have contributed to this peacekeeping operation? What are some of the successes, challenges or controversies surrounding this operation?\n<\/p>\n

You may choose to complete this task as a blog (approximately 500 words), as a video presentation (approximately 2 mins), an audio presentation (approximately 2 mins), a powerpoint presentation or by creating a website.
