Chapters 9-12 discuss the Enlightenment and the political revolutions of the late 18th and early-19th centuries.\n<\/p>\n<p>As you read, consider the following questions:\n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li> What was the impact of new religious, social and political beliefs on the peoples of Europe and the Americas?\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li> How would you define terms such as Renaissance, Reformation and Enlightenment?\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li> What led to the American and French Revolutions?\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a rel=\"nofollow\" class=\"external text\" href=\"https:\/\/archive.org\/details\/worldhistory00webs\">Hutton Webster, <i>World History<\/i>, Boston: D.C.
