Dear CSF101 participants

Congratulations on making it to Session 4 on Defining sustainability and sustainable development. You are on the home straight.

These instructions are for Wednesday 17 to Thursday 18 August 2016.

The instructions for the previous Sessions can be found on the course site.

Defining sustainability and sustainable development

Having a common language will enable us to remove ambiguity about what sustainable development is. You don’t have to know all the laws of chemistry, physics and biology to understand ecological success, but a basic definition of sustainability uses these. We introduce human needs and trust as a fabulous way to provide a cross cultural language of social sustainability.

Need help?

Post your questions using WENotes or the General CSF101 forum. Remember to include the url of the page where you are having problems.

If you are not doing the course for formal credit this is where our journey together ends. We have enjoyed having you on board for the course and hope you will consider taking one of the other Creating Sustainable Futures courses.

For those going on to undertake the Course assignment, instructions will be with you in the next email.
