In the first part of session one we will look at setting goals, objectives and measures, how all three mesh with organisational strategy; how managers are responsible for making sure goals and objectives are attainable and the importance of measures.

Planning and strategy Part 2

In this session you will learn than translating goals and objectives into a plan is the next major step for a manager. Strategic planning also comes into play as deciding what the organization is willing and not willing to do will help reach the goals and objectives set by the organization.
