Reflection is a process that builds upon review. It is not specific to project management but is recognised as an essential step in the learning process.

There are many explanations of the process itself [1] [2] [3]

The core element for a project management is to consider what action you would do differently having had the experience of this project.

Video: Obtaining customer feedback

This video illustrates the idea of reflection in action by looking back at a project and identifying how it could have been improved. This identifies the activities that would be incorporated into future projects. It is not necessary to do this as a group. An individual can reflect on their own about their own experiences, the video demonstrates clearly the process of reflection.
