There are many challenges involved in running a small business successfully. The range of knowledge and practical skills required can surprise a new entrepreneur who is just keen to get their idea off the ground. It is important to find good advice that is relevant to the country or local area where the business will operate.
Here we look at some quick tips provided in a YouTube video, and give some pointers for finding other sources of advice.
Find four other resources giving advice on running a small business. Ideally these will be ones relating to your own country/local area.
Examples of places to look:
- Governmental small business advisory service (leaflets or website)
- Reputable bank that offers banking services to small businesses (leaflets or website)
- Networks for business owners (e.g. local chamber of commerce, LinkedIn groups)
- YouTube videos (you will need to assess how reliable the video author is)
