Tasks – small business challenge

  1. Think about a small business that you use a lot in your area.
    • If you are able to, interview the business owner.
    • Tell them you are doing a course, and that their business will not be identified by name in your report.
  2. Undertake a SWOT analysis for that business (see the page in this Learning Pathway on SWOT Analysis)
  3. Additionally, consider whether the business you chose is entrepreneurial or not, and explain your reasons.
  4. Feel free to consult with other learners in this ‘Ask a Friend’ discussion forum.
    As a community course we encourage you to help your peers by providing answers.
