Module 3: Creating your content

In this module, we look at the topic of creating original content for your MOOC, sourcing content from the web through open educational resources (OERs), and using student-generated content.
Our focus on original content creation will be mainly on making videos.
Videos are popular learning objects on MOOCs, and for many educators, who are experienced at presenting, it may take less time to create a video than to develop static documents based on text and images.
We will also look at how to find suitable existing resources, particularly in the form of Open Educational Resources (OER) and address the difficulties of  not being able to find just what we want for a particular need, and/or negotiating the legalities of using OERs.
